Camera Shy

Do you think I am a camera shy type of person? Personally, I would say I am because where there are crowds of people I would not like to have my picture taken. I can only posed when there is no one except hubby and he is the only one who can also take picture of me and my kids, lol. But aside from that I would not pose to anybody even to hubby's family. I am a little shy and I don't want them to know that I am a camera tart at all, hehehehe. Great pretender, typical me! Just not so comfortable posing to anyone's eyes.

Thursday's Ramblings

I just arrived from picking up my little girl from school. She had her ballet lesson today so I had to bring her ballet bag with all the stuff she needs in it. She is very keen to have her weekly ballet lesson so what else can a mother do but to support her only princess in whatever activities she joined.

Anyway, while waiting for her to finish I was with my crowd of pussy and we chit-chatted the whole hour about life here and there, lol. We actually plan for our Sunday party as mothers and birthday celebration of co-filipina too. I am not sure whether I take food with me or simply just bring a red wine. I supposed to make a puto cheese but not so sure if I can get all the ingredients before Saturday. Tomorrow I'll be working as well as Saturday morning. So I guess I still have time to go shopping for my puto cheese ingredients, eyyy?

I will just have to see how the time goes. But for sure Sunday will be a great day for us and for my friends. Saturday afternoon we plan to go dinner with the kids as a mother's day celebration. Hubby said, we have to take the kids since its them who made me a mother, lol. He is quite right so no need to argue with that......take the kids it is.

This was taken on Dec 16th when I attended my in-laws cocktail party. I just realised I've got too many pics that I am not able to share them all at once. Whatever I think is appropriate I'll post it. Our meal after the 2 hours of chatting and drinking. Some of the guest were already gone by then and few opted to joined us for the meal. Hubby too a photo because I demanded so. He knows who is the boss in our marriage and thats me, lol.

Favourite Stuff

This was taken last christmas after I received my laptop from hubby. Celphone is no longer used by me because I got the latest Samsung one. Planning to give this old N80to my family back in Philippines if I know they'll be aftering it soon I get there. My Ipod video is not used very much because I only like things when its new hehehehe. No I am still using it during long trip or in our bedroom. I have films in it so everytime I get stuck in in the middle of nowhere then I know what to do, watch the film that I uploaded in my Ipod. I think its all James bond one, hehehe. So yeah, these are my favourite stuff.

Mirror oh Mirror

What else can a woman do in her own bedroom? Nothing else is there> But look herself in the mirror and think if she is beautiful enough, lol. Yeah, some old boring days better than to hang myself, hehehehehe. I love mirrors, this is what my husband always tells me. Glad there isn't snake slithering near me or I'll be screaming like a child. Anyway here's an image of me staring at myself in front of the mirror. I was all tanned after my sunbathing last summer 2007.

Today's Outing

Today we went out shopping in the mall nearby. Just 10 minutes walked from our house. There we've seen Mother, great Granny and sis in-law busy doing clothes shopping. Great gran again gave some cash for the kids and bought us some nice tops each. We then went to the coffee shop upstairs and had a cup of tea and some cakes.

After I went look for handbags and purses since its 50 percent sale and didn't see anything fancy. Almost wanting to buy the pink purses which presumably will cost me £50 but then I change my mind and wait until next week for my biggest shopping day with sis in-law as a birthday treat. Looking forward to it....hubby was supposed to treat me today for a handbag shopping but as I said nothing fancy that I really like. So Im assuming I will see something more exciting by next week, really.

Alone Shopping with Hubby

On Christmas eve me and hubby went shopping of our own leaving the kids with the grandparents. We had to do a quic shopping for theor stockings as we didn't get into earlier. It was very surprising how packed the shops are for I thought we are the only disorganised parents for doing the last minute christmas shopping. I also bought few cute tops for myself and for hubby since the sale was just started by then. Unfortunately I got the top who is not on sale for I didn't find any particular style I like on sale. Most on the sale racks are the stuff that either too big or damaged which I think is just a waste of money so its better to buy something that can be useful for many years to come.

We had lunch at Wimpy the quickest food we can take that day for I was so hungry and fighting for the cold wind. It was a nice time indeed shopping with hubby alone without the kids to worry about. I wish to do it more often but sadly my in-laws are all occupied by their own life's. They can only babysit when its really needed. But having in-laws that are kind, loving and generous are more than enough. As the saying goes you can't have everything you want in life, its better few than nothing at all.

Pictures last Sunday before went to Grandpa's party, I let my lot striked a pose for me to shot! I am glad to have captured this good pic of them. My kids are not the easiest kids to take a picture on for they get so bored easily and refused to pose or to smile. I have to be very patience and quick otherwise it will end up in tears.

Rediculous names of a child

In philippines or anywhere in the world there is always this child named combination that sound so rediculous. Like my younger sister's classmate in high school, a twin girls were named "August Apple and August Orange" because there were born on August and when the Mother was pregnant all she wanted to eat was Orange and Apple fruit and the rest made her sick.

Another rediculous named I heard is Condom and it was a combination from both parents name whom are called Conrado and Domingga. It was shameful named and why would parents never think of their child future? The 3rd one I know from our town is the child named "December Dawn" because of its birthday. The child was heard to be born on the Dawn of December, lol. Silly names like these can actually caused a child into bullies when they're grown up.

Today I read the yahoo news about a child in Italy who were named by the parents "Friday" because the child is born Friday, baptised on Friday and called the boy Friday. But lawyers in Italy insisted because it was too shameful and rediculous.

The tribunal said it was protecting the child from being the butt of jokes and added that it believed the name would hinder him from developing "serene interpersonal relationships".

A Day out

Last Saturday the whole family went malling the whole day in the nearest town. We supposedly see Santa's Grotto but since the queue were long as the eifel tower, we then opted to eat instead and see afterwards. But unfortunately after we eat and did some shopping the Grotto was closed so we decided to head out and just go home to watch movie. On the way out hubby took us a picture with all those sparkling snowflakes behind. Isn't it cool?

Love his Curly hair

I love babies with curly hair, it just simply fascinates me. When my Kath was about my son's age she also had this telephone wire curl and sleek. It was a beautiful hair that every people see's her the first time always admire her curly hair plus she had a beautiful curly long lashes which top it all. She was about 2 yrs old when I first cut it and I remembered how upset my Papa was because he hates the fact that we cut Kath's curly hair. I took her to Daddy decided that its about time to trimmed it down.

So now my son has a curly hair again and its a little longer now which kinda show's it already. I want it long and curly until next year during our trip back home. I promised Mama and Papa that I won't cut it until they say Christian in person with his long curly hair. Of course they seen him in the pictures and I can't imagine how they wished they'll see it in real. I always remind hubby that christian's hair will remains long until we got to the philippines. Hubby didn't promised as he dont like a boy with a long hair, lol.

Sore-Eyes

Today was Kath's school program, I planned to go with hubby as we always both attend whenever there is school show to support our daughter but unfortunately I am not-well enough to attend. I caught an eye-bug which caused both my eyes very sore so I stayed home instead. Anyway there will be another school show on thursday so hopefull I will be better to watch it.

Daddy took some photos and will share it online soon as I download them. For now I am busy cooking our dinner. I opted to have calderita tonight since thats the only meal I am good at and thanks to Mamasita recipe's. It very easy and simple to follow and it taste so yummy. I hope my kids will eat this time because I prepared mashed potato to go with it since they are not keen on rice.

In 40 minutes our dinner will be ready but before that I'll have to write some reviews so my day won't be wasted. Have few task need to be done since its about to expired.

Disorganised

Tomorrow is my daughters ballet show and now its already 3:32 am here and still I am up because I am trying to find her headband and her pink ballet socks. I really dont know where it might have gone? I have no idea and I already digg and looked everywhere esle. It must be that my son got hold of it on the first place and I have no idea where he could have put it. Sometimes he really hides them well in the corner or little tiny hole that you never thought of him sticking stuff onto it. Now I am about to go bed because I need to get up in few hours. Gosh what a messed-up sleeping routine I have. I think I need to get back to my normal routine of sleeping because its no good for me to have few hours sleep only and sleeping in day time is not counted at all. I am just hoping in few hours time I will be able to find Kath's socks and headband. Fingers cross here!
